I gave a very specific trade value I was looking for based on offers from two other dealerships, yet after the scripted back-and-forth, the offer still came back less than expected. It felt more like theater than honest negotiation. We were also asked to "do the dealership a favor" by financing the vehicle, despite explaining that we did not need financing. When we reached the finance office, the interest rate presented was significantly higher than we had expected based on our earlier conversation. Our salesperson was friendly, but the overall experience lacked professionalism. We also specifically asked whether there were any open recalls during the test drive and were told there were none. After agreeing to purchase the vehicle, we were then asked to wait while an open recall was completed before taking delivery. It was another example of poor communication that added to an already frustrating experience. We purchased the vehicle because it met our needs—not because of the sales experience. Following our purchase, I sent a detailed and professional email outlining these concerns to the General Manager, General Sales Manager, and Customer Service Director. As of today, three full business days have passed without even an acknowledgment or response. That silence speaks volumes about how customer feedback is handled after the sale. I hope Parks Hyundai takes a serious look at replacing outdated sales tactics with honest, transparent communication. It would create a far better experience for customers who come in ready to buy.

This reinforces my view that you should not have work done at a dealer. According to the mechanic that I trust, the diagnosed problems with my car (at this dealer)were overpriced and not necessary. I don't eat breakfast so I hadn't had anything to eat.

Called to make appt for diagnostics and was told that those have to be made a day ahead, so we made an appt for next day at 8:30 AM. Dropped off for 8:30 AM appointment and had no communication by 1:30 PM, so we called to find out what was going on. No one had looked at the car, and we were told then that it could be 24-48 hours before diagnostics were completed. We had had enough and came to pick up the car. When we arrived a few minutes later, they had put it on the rack, presumably spurred by our call to get something started. Communication failure on multiple levels. Please be straight about things. If you do not intend to look at a car for 24-48 hours, don't offer an appointment. We went to the dealer, expecting to pay more but expecting to get better communication and customer service in return for the higher cost. Sadly, we won't be back.

Called and made appointment for recall. Dropped off car and waited. They sent me a bunch of things that needed to be fixed and let me know the parts needed for the recall were on back order. Not sure how they didn’t know that when I dropped it off, huge waste of time.

I had a recent service experience at Parks Hyundai of Gainesville that left me with very mixed feelings. First, I want to acknowledge the staff. Every person I interacted with was kind, respectful, and genuinely trying to help. Edwin in particular went out of his way to be supportive, and the service manager Gerald was also professional and understanding. That said, it’s very clear the team is overwhelmed and operating in a system that isn’t set up for success. My car was towed in on a Tuesday. It took about 24 hours to diagnose the issue. The part needed wasn’t in stock and had to be ordered, which I understand can happen. Where things became frustrating was the communication and timeline: I called Monday for an update and was told my car would be ready by 3 PM At 3 PM, I hadn’t heard anything, so I called and was placed on hold for 20–30 minutes I was then told it would be ready by end of day I returned my rental and walked from Hertz to the dealership, only to find my car was still not ready The car was finally completed at 6:08 PM, after their stated closing time of 6 PM On top of that, I had to pay out of pocket for a rental vehicle while waiting. That was especially frustrating given the delay was due to the part not being in stock, something completely outside of my control. While waiting, I got a clearer picture of what’s happening behind the scenes. Staff were managing a constant stream of customers while also handling phones via walkie talkies. Some had been there since 6:30 AM. At one point, I overheard an employee say they are not equipped to handle the current volume of vehicles. Between my visits I witnessed 4 other cars be towed in. That moment really stood out, because it confirmed what the experience already felt like. This doesn’t feel like a people problem. It feels like a system problem. The volume of cars, lack of capacity, and communication breakdowns are creating a situation where both employees and customers are set up to struggle. The staff are doing their best, but they appear overworked and burnt out. On top of that, my vehicle itself has been a major source of stress. It’s only four years old and has had ongoing engine issues that feel like a domino effect of repairs. Most recently, I was quoted around $3,000 in repairs, on top of still having a monthly car payment. Overall: The people: kind, professional, and doing everything they can The system: overwhelmed and not equipped to handle demand The cost: rental expenses + ~$3,000 in repairs while still carrying a car payment The vehicle quality: deeply concerning I truly appreciate the individuals working there. But until something changes at a system level, I would be cautious about both servicing here and purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

In and out, in a very timely manner. I had a service, tire fix and sensor calibration. Also a recall for trailer issues. In less than two hours. Also got warranty info from service advisor. This all happened after I had to change my appointment because of a medical appointment change. As always if I don't like my treatment, I won't keep coming back. There are other dealers closer to my home

I had no intentions of buying a car that day, but everything went so smoothly and easy that my product specialist Alejandro bravo to great care of me.
