Parks Motor Group Celebrates FNR Scholar Athlete at Newberry High School
The crisp autumn air, the roar of the crowd, and the glow of the stadium lights—nothing brings our community together quite like high school football. Here in the Gainesville area, Friday nights are about more than just the game; they’re about pride, tradition, and celebrating the next generation of leaders. That’s why Hyundai of Gainesville & Parks Motor Group is honored to close out the season by sponsoring the final Friday Night Rivals (FNR) Scholar Athlete scholarship presentation at Newberry High School on October 31st.
As the Trinity Catholic Celtics face off against the Newberry Panthers in a highly anticipated matchup, we’re proud to turn the spotlight on the students who excel both on the field and in the classroom. This event is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and character that define our local youth, and we couldn’t be prouder to support them.
A Classic Showdown: Trinity Catholic vs. Newberry High
The season finale is set to be an unforgettable night of local football. The rivalry between Trinity Catholic and Newberry is sure to draw a passionate crowd, filling the stands with families, friends, and neighbors from across the Gainesville area. This is what community is all about: cheering for our hometown teams and sharing in the excitement of a classic gridiron battle.
For Hyundai of Gainesville, being part of these moments is a privilege. We believe that local businesses have a responsibility to invest in the communities they serve, and there’s no better place to do that than right here, under the Friday night lights, alongside the very people who make this region such a special place to live.
More Than a Game: Honoring North Central Florida’s Brightest Stars
While the action on the field is thrilling, the FNR Scholar Athlete program, presented by Parks Motor Group, celebrates a different kind of victory. This award recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and a commitment to their community. These are the young leaders who maintain high GPAs while dedicating countless hours to practice, who volunteer their time, and who represent the very best of their schools.
By providing this scholarship, Parks Motor Group aims to invest in the future of these incredible students, helping them pursue their dreams in higher education and beyond. It’s our way of saying thank you for their hard work and for setting a powerful example for their peers. Their success is a win for our entire community.
